The Rêve Presentation Centre will relocate to the Tridel Store at 2 Carlton St. from Tridel’s corporate head offices soon. The exact date is yet to be determined. The Tridel Store is also the Presentation Centre for Tridel’s downtown Toronto 300 Front Street West and James Cooper Mansion.

The month of October saw huge numbers in web traffic to the 560front.com website with 8000 visitors and close to 14,000 visits downloading just shy of 70 GB of content. The website remains quite active with a couple of hundred visitors daily.

There was a great weekend turnout for the Rêve Grand Opening. The Grand Opening continues this week at Tridel’s Head Office by appointment only.

Here are some of the video highlights from the Saturday Grand Opening at Tridel’s Head Office

4:00pm: What a day! This will be the last entry for the blog today. Everyone is tired but exhilarated and looking forward to Sunday!

3:00pm: Smooth Sailing. Outside line is down to a dozen. Inside, all 10 stations are closing deals. Both reception areas full with prospective purchasers. Not a single computer, printer or copying glitch. Received another half dozen online registrations and sent out price lists.

12:40: Outside line-up is more manageable as more purchasers are brought into the building. Parking lot is packed.

11:36: Another 11 registrations submitted since last midnight. Sending out price lists by email to these registrants.

11:00am: Crowds are even bigger. First set of purchases are through. Weather is holding up well. Everything is well organized and staffed.

10:35: Purchasers crowd the Presentation Centre as the first deals get completed. Everything is running smooth as computers, printers and copiers are all functioning perfectly.

9:50am: Looks like over 100 people lined up for the 10am opening. Everything is orderly and everyone is great spirits.

8:20am: The line-up already started before 8:00 am with over 20 people present. The sales and administrative staff arrived at 8:00. Administrative staff are receiving instructions for procedures. Doors set to open at 10am.

The webserver stats gave up on Tuesday after some large spikes. The PDF brochure and price list downloads just exceeded 100,000 hits for October and the bandwidth for the month was just a little shy of 50 GB! Trying to restore the web analytic software to see what traffic has been like since Monday.

Stancheons, chairs, tents and heaters have been delivered and are now being set up for the Rêve Grand Opening. Upstairs, more computers are being installed and the closing areas for purchasers are being organized.

The realtors did a great job of organizing themselves since last Saturday staking out their place in line.

Outdoor heaters rented and installed in the covered parking area. Realtor chairs are going around the corner.

A videographer and photographer will be helping with blogging the grand opening tomorrow. There have been requests from the media for photos and video. These will be provided on request.

Tridel sent out an email to registrants Monday evening with a link to download the  Rêve Grand Opening Price List in PDF. The price list will be sent out daily to new registrants up until the Grand Opening.

The Dream Collection Price List will be sent to registrants soon along with the Grand Opening reminder.

Preparations continue for the Rêve Grand Opening at Tridel’s Head Office. The launch is set for 10am, Saturday, October 24th and continues Sunday, October 25th.

The Rêve website has experienced heavy traffic with over 20 Gigabytes of downloads in just the past five days.

A link to download the price list will be sent to registrants today and everyone who registers afterwards.
